Purpose:
To strengthen the church community by recognizing and celebrating important life events of members (birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and milestones).Key Responsibilities:
Maintain an updated record of member life events and special dates
Coordinate recognition (announcements, cards, small tokens, etc.)
Work with church leadership to include acknowledgments in services or communications
Encourage member participation in celebrating others
Help organize occasional appreciation moments or celebrations
Ensure accuracy and sensitivity when sharing personal information
Skills/Qualifications:
Organized and detail-oriented
Thoughtful and people-oriented
Good communication skills
Respectful of privacy and preferences
Time Commitment:
1–2 hours per week -
Purpose:
To help ensure a safe and prepared church environment by maintaining and monitoring basic safety equipment and readiness.Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and maintain first aid kits and emergency supplies
Ensure fire extinguishers and safety equipment are present and up to date
Identify basic safety risks in church facilities and report them
Help keep emergency contact information accessible
Support simple safety procedures during services and events
Coordinate with leadership on safety needs and improvements
Skills/Qualifications:
Responsible and observant
Basic knowledge of safety practices (first aid knowledge is a plus)
Organized and proactive
Able to communicate concerns clearly
Time Commitment:
1–2 hours per month + occasional event support -
Purpose:
To share Christ-centered books and materials with the community, helping others grow spiritually and learn Bible truth.Key Responsibilities:
Distribute books, tracts, and other literature in the community
Engage in respectful, Christ-like conversations while sharing materials
Pray with and for individuals when appropriate
Keep simple records of contacts and interests
Support church outreach events through literature distribution
Follow up with interested individuals when possible
Skills/Qualifications:
Friendly, approachable, and respectful demeanor
Willingness to share faith in a simple, natural way
Dependability and initiative
Alignment with church beliefs and mission
Time Commitment:
Flexible (1–3 hours per week or during outreach events) -
Purpose:
To support the prayer ministry by organizing, tracking, and following up on prayer requests, helping the church see how God is answering prayers.Key Responsibilities:
Collect and record prayer requests (from services, forms, or members)
Maintain a simple and organized tracking system
Follow up with individuals for updates or testimonies
Share answered prayers (with permission) to encourage the church
Coordinate with prayer leaders to keep requests current
Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity in all communications
Skills/Qualifications:
Organized and detail-oriented
Discreet and trustworthy (maintains confidentiality)
Compassionate and attentive
Basic ability to use spreadsheets or simple tracking tools
Time Commitment:
1–2 hours per week -
Purpose:
To manage the church’s social media presence in order to share updates, promote events, and support outreach.Key Responsibilities:
Create and post content (announcements, events, inspirational messages)
Maintain consistent posting schedule
Respond to messages and comments when appropriate
Coordinate with church leaders for accurate information
Promote church programs and special events
Monitor engagement and suggest improvements
Skills/Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
Clear communication and attention to detail
Creativity and reliability
Alignment with church values and mission
Time Commitment:
2–4 hours per week -
Purpose:
To support newly baptized members in their spiritual growth, helping them build a strong relationship with Christ and become active in church life.Key Responsibilities:
Build a personal, caring relationship with assigned member(s)
Encourage daily Bible study, prayer, and church attendance
Help them understand basic beliefs and church practices
Introduce them to ministries and opportunities to serve
Maintain regular contact (calls, messages, or meetings)
Pray with and for them consistently
Skills/Qualifications:
Spiritually mature and grounded in the Bible
Caring, patient, and approachable
Good listener and encourager
Committed to confidentiality and consistency
Time Commitment:
1–2 hours per week for at least 3 months after baptism
